Insects In Wooden Frames - This line of elegant mounts combines colorful insects with a sophisticated double glass and fine wood frame making it easy to match any decor. Aside from showing off the beauty of the specimen, the glass on both sides feature also allows the entire insect to be viewed. In addition, the frames thickness allows for the dual display option of free standing standing on a shelf or hanging on a wall.

The frame itself is available in 4 different wood finishes; natural light, cherry(add $15), walnut (add $15),
and black (add $15).

Availability

The availability of the insects in this section is affected by season as well as their individual scarcity. Please also keep in mind when you order that we do not keep the entire line in stock, as we just don't have enough space. Assuming that our supplier has the insect(s) available , we can generally expect delivery to us within 3 weeks. So plan ahead, and consider second choices in case your first selection is not available. This is the biggest variety of framed specimens we've ever offered, and we genuinely hope you enjoy it!

Frames

The double glass mounts come in a natural 'blonde' red oak frame, but can also be special ordered in cherry, walnut, or black stained frame for approximately $15 extra.

Ordering

Please note the insect's name (in bold) when ordering as well as whether you are wanting a male or female, wings spread or not. Someday we will apply efficient numbers to make ordering easier, but until then, thank you for bearing with us.
