Mammalian Crania Photographic Archive

The Mammalian Crania Photographic Archive is a project developed by several academic institutes in Japan to document mammal skulls. The site is in english, and has the most comprehensive on-line collection of mammal skull pictures we've ever seen.

The eSkeletons Project

Devoted to comparative human and primate osteology, the University of Texas's eSkeletons Project offers digitized versions of skeletons in 2-D and 3-D. Includes the human skeleton, all of the great apes, and a number of other primates.

Bird Skull Collection

The Bird Skull Collection is a digital database of bird skulls and skeletons belonging to The Experimental Zoology Group of Wageningen University (Netherlands). Well worth visiting, this collection contains some truly stunning skeletal articulations.

The California department of Fish & Game site on Endangered and Threatened species of California.

Migratory Birds

A page devoted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services Divison of Migratory Bird Management. Part of the site is "A Guide to the Laws and Treaties of the United States For Protecting Migratory Birds", an excellent resources that includes links to the full MBTA species list as well as links to related laws such as the Lacey Act.
