Onyx
Its not just black! Onyx is actually a banded, and very hard, quartz based mineral that has striated color inclusions. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color and this dishware is a perfect example. These pieces range from opaque and cloudy neutral colors to a semi-translucent, almost luminescent greenish yellow color and many consist of a beautiful assortment of all.

Morrocan Fossil
These beautiful dishes and jars have been a part of our stock for years now, and every fossil show, the pieces just get better. It consists of a mixture of fossil types, predominately orthoceras and ammonite, in a marble matrix. The rough material for these pieces is found within the Sahara Desert in the Tengana formation near Kimkim in Morocco. The fossils are specimens of the Devonian Period, which makes them 417 - 354 million years old. This should explain why they are so incredibly irresistable, and unfortunately
