WWII Field Surgical Set
This surgical set was made to be portable for medics to use them on the field in World War II. It includes an assortment of 7 medical tools and a box of small needles. The kit appears to be complete and original. On either side of the case, there are two circular "vents" that open and close, likely to drain blood that accidentally fell onto the kit. It measures approximately 6" x 3.25" when closed, and has a nice weight to it. The case is likely sterling silver plated.
Stampings: The outside of the case is stamped D.R.G.M., and has a 'H' and building image encircled. The inside of the case is stamped '35.' The tools are stamped ROSTFPEI, and has the same building stamp.
