Halloween The Wobblesprider of Wondrous Dread!
Oh, the wonders you'll find, with a critter so grand, Perched right on your head, in a spidery band! We'll call this fine fellow, with eyes oh so red, The Wobblesprider of Wondrous Dread!
Now, Mrs. McGee, with her hair long and bright, Usually kept things all tidy and tight. Her days were quite normal, no wibbles, no wobbles, Just sensible tasks and no curious squabbles. But then came October, with breezes so cool, And atop her fine head, a most marvelous tool!
It was Jumbles, the Wobblesprider, oh what a dear friend! With legs made for wiggling, right up to the end. When Mrs. McGee felt a moment of glum, Or thought, "Oh dear me, this day's really numb!" Old Jumbles would wiggle, a leg or two, swift, A silent, eight-legged, magnificent gift! "Hoo-doo!" Jumbles seemed to declare with a twitch, "There's fun to be had, without even a hitch!"
One morning, the mailman, so serious and gray, Delivered the bills in his very drab way. Mrs. McGee sighed, a most sensible sound, When Jumbles, atop her, began to bounce 'round! His red eyes went wide, in a comical blink, "Don't just pay the bills, give a giggle, I think!" So Mrs. McGee, with a mischievous grin, Wrote "Boo!" on the memo, then dropped it right in! The mailman he grumbled, then chuckled out loud, "Oh, that Mrs. McGee, always one in a crowd!"
And so, through the autumn, with Jumbles so grand, Mrs. McGee found adventure at hand. He'd wink with a twitch when she thought, "Oh, I'm bored!" And soon she'd be singing, a cheerful chord! For The Wobblesprider of Wondrous Dread, you see, Made life much more zingy, for dear Mrs. McGee! It taught her that dullness is truly no match, For a whimsical spider, fresh out of its hatch!
