ARTIST SUPPLIES
Of course just about everything in The Bone Room can be used by artists - as models, as materials, as tools. Ron used to say "Everyone in the Bay Area is an artist", and he was always tickled at the creative uses to which artists would put some of our natural products.
Now the entire website is an artist's playground, but I thought it might be useful to gather the 'most used by artists' items in one place, as a sort of jumping off point. Under our new Artist Supplies section you will find links to Animal Remnants, Seashells, Horns, Fossils, Taxidermy Eyes, Display Products and Miscellaneous Tools. Since artists can make use of animal skulls so damaged they are not appropriate for the classroom, we will be listing our A3 (heavily discounted!) animal skulls in this section.
