The full text of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species and a searchable database of CITES species can be found here.

Federal Endangered Species
Home of the official U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services Endangered Species Program. The site includes a searchable database of endangered species, and full text of relevant legal code. 

California Endangered Species
The California department of Fish & Game site on Endangered and Threatened species of California.

Migratory Birds
A page devoted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services Division of Migratory Bird Management. This is an excellent resource that includes links to the full MBTA species list as well as links to related laws such as the Lacey Act. 

Marine Mammals
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Full text of the Marine Mammal Protection Act including species, provided by The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Animal Diversity Web
A project of the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology, the Animal Diversity is an online database of natural history that covers species from around the world. One of the best places to find basic facts about a wide variety of creatures.

Mammalian Crania Photographic Archive
The Mammalian Crania Photographic Archive is a project developed by several academic institutes in Japan to document mammal skulls. The site is in english, and has the most comprehensive on-line collection of mammal skull pictures we've ever seen. 

The eSkeletons Project
Devoted to comparative human and primate osteology, the University of Texas's eSkeletons Project offers digitized versions of skeletons in 2-D and 3-D. Includes the human skeleton, all of the great apes, and a number of other primates.

Bird Skull Collection
The Bird Skull Collection is a digital database of bird skulls and skeletons belonging to The Experimental Zoology Group of Wageningen University (Netherlands). Well worth visiting, this collection contains some truly stunning skeletal articulations.

BugGuide.net is a community site devoted to identifying the insects of North America. Includes an excellent guide with lots of images and a section for submitting images to be identified.

Explore deep time on this interactive website.  Look through a variety of fossils and facts. Fairly interactive.

An exhaustive list of paleontological resources both on and off the web. Updated fairly regularly.
