International Shipping
We ship internationally using both the U.S. Postal service and UPS. Shipping and handling charges cannot be accurately assessed until we know the contents of your order and the actual shipping address. We will recommend a shipping solution based on the size and value of your order. All international shipment require an external invoice disclosing the true value and nature of the items being shipped. We cannot accommodate orders that request otherwise.
International Requirements for Certain Species
*We require a minimum purchase order of $200 for any International shipment that includes non-domestic species of animals, and any kind of insect. There is an additional $95 Fish and Wildlife Inspection Fee for these types of packages.
Examples of stock that will have international restrictions: our lucite insects, framed insects, coyote claw packs, alligator feet or heads. *Regrettably, we are currently unable to ship wildlife materials overseas. Anything which requires export declarations, permits, and Fish and Wildlife fees and inspection will not be accepted as an international order at this time. We are able to accept international orders for anything not subject to the above regulations: domestically raised animal remains (cat, dog, chicken, cow, etc.), human material (please check your own country's Customs regulations re: importation), and of course anything made of paper or plastic. We apologize for the restriction; we are simply unable, due to time and personnel restrictions, to give to these more difficult exports the attention they require. Bone Room Shipping & Handling Fees
Shipping and Handling fees charged by The Bone Room cover the following: handling, packing, actual postage, and insurance (when applicable).
Extra Miscellaneous Fees
Shipping and Handling fees charged by The Bone Room do not cover: custom fees, import duties, VATs, or any other fees levied by the country of destination. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot estimate these fees, nor do all countries charge them. Please contact your local post office or customs authority concerning these fees.

Item Restrictions
The Bone Room follows California State Law, U.S. Federal Law, and International Treaties regarding the possession and sale of our merchandise. However, be advised that foreign localities may have additional restrictions on some material. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of their own local laws. Materials seized due to conflict with foreign law are not eligible for refunds or replacement. If you are uncertain about the legality of an item you wish to purchase, please contact your local legal authorities.
Unexpected Delays
International shipments may be delayed by weather or other unforeseen or unavoidable events. We work hard to make sure our orders are sent out as quickly as possible, but once they leave our hands we are at the mercy of the elements and fate, and can only give refunds as USPS's guidelines permit. Please be patient and let us try to figure out any problems that arise.
International shipments may be delayed by random customs inspections or other circumstances beyond our control, and insurance coverage and/or speed are dependent upon the type of international shipping chosen. Please be patient and allow extra time for delivery of international orders, and choose your method carefully. Return Policy
We do not accommodate refunds, but instead will do an exchange for the unwanted purchased item for an item of equal value. We require a receipt from the original purchase to fulfill the return/exchange. We try to fully describe our merchandise to minimize the need for returns. However, if a miscommunication or other extenuating circumstance results in an item arriving not as described, we will try and replace it with a suitable specimen. If one is unavailable, we will provide a full refund or store credit. This is at our discretion. If you only need an item for a short time or for a specific, non-destructive purpose, consider our leasing option.
