​Swords into Plowshares/Bullet Casings into Jewelry


This made-in-Ukraine jewelry is created from brass repurposed from 'war cartridges' and bullet casings. The designs are based on Viking and Kyiv Culture archaeological finds excavated in the Sumy region of Ukraine, bordering Russia - a hotly contested region now.


At this time we have only a few 'sample' pieces - we hope to help this Ukrainian artist by ordering more from him in the future; actually we have made an order, but as you might imagine, he is currently experiencing difficulties in both the manufacture and the shipping of his material.
